what is the first step to install php nuke in webhosting?

Fantastico makes it easier
that is if you use cpanel...
if not instalaron for direct admin..

First Step:
Download latest PHPNUKE from http://www.phpnuke.org

Then, Unzip and read the installation manual.

hehe consufed question..

you want to use as service / portal?

i thought he wanna provide php nuke as a service in his hosting service. So customer can choose to use php nuke. Like default service

i already have cpanel hosting but i dont know how to upload php nuke portal system to webhosting.it includes fantastico but didnt work.

actually i did not sure how much ur knowledge in webhosting / webdevelopement.

mind to tell us ? it's better for us to solve ur problem.

Step :
* Open Readme file in phpnuke .. learn how to install the script..

normally..
1. Upload all phpnuke script into ur webhosting space using FTP .
2. Setup ur mysql database via CPANEL - database name and database user.
3. Setting up the phpnuke script confing and run the install script.

Then DONE.

that's only..


oh yea... i think ur webhost also can setup it for u

by the way are used to phpnuke?
what if u install and then don't know how to go about it?
maybe u can try simpler ones like mambo cms...just my suggestion...
if u already mahir phpnuke..go ahead!

I highly recommend Mambo (http://www.mamboserver.com) if you try to use PHPNUKE. My old forum was using PHPNUKE and it easily get hacked. I have switched it to Mambo.
