Okay guys, I need a fast decision. I can't decide which to use, Joomla or Mambo? Its a toss-up between the two.

[Personally I dislike using the Mambo-like CMSes, but I don't have a choice here, since the site I am going to build needs it.]

I would suggest Joomla. It's a natural transition from Mambo to Joomla.

Boleh tak korang bagi aku contoh CMS yang percuma atau pun opensource yang pernah korang pakai. Ape kebaikan dan keburukkannya? Dan kenapa korang pakai?

kelebihan: percuma. tak perlu bayar
keburukan: kena belajar camne nak pakai

kelebihan: easy option
keburukan: looks the same as many other websites, loss of fine-grained control, poor SEO performance, difficult to modify the core functionality, you do not own the code - this can be a serious issue when you want to sell the site
Kenapa pakai: because you don't want to spend the time and money making your own solution.

My recommendation: Pay a developer to produce a data-base driven system directly designed for your website. Or learn how to do it yourself. Steer well clear of pre-built scripts.

Joomla / Mambo / Xoops had SEo .. i mean Friendly search engine URL. But kinda limited..
As far as the best i found still Wordpress.. u can figure how the URL you like.

Yes i know it's BLOG script!.. but still can be a protal, cms kinda look.. But if you need forum, etc etc.. sorry, wordpress didnot have it.

My blog use wordpress.. Customized design. I even make it as *.html (tipu betul.. ) ..

Anyway.. i heard JOOMLA had a better templating system than Mambo itself.
