The Best CMS I've seen yet :)

sNews CMS

I have tried drupal, joomla, most others way back (like ezpublish ..etc). Most cms sucks. Till date, I'm using Wordpress as a CMS. I'm happy until I found sNews. I think it is the next generation of CMS. And perhaps the best cms that get the job done.

In terms of 'light weight', well, it is powered by onlyone file. No kidding

A one-file-cms. It loads super fast.

In terms of 'customization' or 'look and feel', it can be easily integrated into any templates found anywhere, simply with few tags

More >> integrated search engine, contact form, image, archive, and most importantly seach engine friendly.

Hmm sNews looks interesting. I will try it out on localhost.

However based on my experience with Wordpress I would say that by far it is the best. It has great flexibility, good templates selection, plugins as well as forum support. And there are many discussions on turning Wordpress into a CMS here:

the snews.php weights 96k in size. i think that is pretty heavy though.

But it's only one file

. Editting takes a bit loading, but when surfing, it is as quick as anything

How about other impressions other than the file size?

visit the urls given by limcs to see how this snews looks like.

page load mostly affected by connection.
bad server connection will five bad page load eventho it is a html page

other than that, it is simple and nice.
does this thing comes with feed capability?

I tried to modify a template for sNews but its kinda difficult. Are there any ready-made templates which have already been customised for sNews?

Totally agree with you.

My site has been displaying a "comings soon" page since 2 months ago because none of the monster CMS's worked for me.

This seems the one I need, and going to try the flat version

nice one, although it don't have addons (maybe i couldn't find it)...

IMHO for lightweight website this one is good...
