in my case, i'd use the getURL where the target is "_blank", it actually works in IE6 and i just tried on my colleague's pc where she got IE7 installed, it works normal and fine, mayb the "_self" is different, you can try go here AsianBookie.Com - Asian Handicap LIVE Odds Betting most of the banner are using getURL, and the wan in the middle where there's a chinese blossom drawing flash is done by me using the method "_blank".....anyway, found and read quite a number of articles on the Internet, a lot of ppl also have problem with this case...some have solutions but not sure whether is it working or not....

on (release) {
getURL ("javascript:NewWindow=window.open()
