How to market my social networking site?

Can anyone help to suggest how can I spread the new social networking site I did from scratch? Please advice. Thank you

spread the new social the best of course is advertising thru banners if u have the budget

yes, the site is more intended for girls to protect their privacy. This is one of the unique feature to try to stand out in the market.

My clients has the budget to do the advert but just don't know which is the most effective way. I am still surveying on this

more suggestion are welcome

You can also try PPC like Adwords and Adbrite since you target only a certain market, your ad will stand out.

hi JLHC, thanks for your suggestion too. What do you mean by PPC? We tend not to use things like Adwords because we just want to target end-user like teenagers. Do you think the Adwords really work for this? Cheers!!!

PPC means Pay Per Click, which Adwords and Adbrite works on.
Adwords will normally work only if you target a certain market, as your ads will show up in teenage girls site more often than other general social networking site.

hmmm...PPC maynot be the way because not about the money to spend but we would like to make it a more social way. My another problem is the client want to target the UK market and I am not good in socialing with guai mui lah. hehehehe

You can target certain geographical market, for example the whole Asia, SEA, Malaysia and Singapore only, etc...
