Aaah, that's why I didn't understand! I don't know anything about that...
![]() The site looks very solid and consistent - do you write the HTML by hand? I only ask because I've been working on the document parser at spider.my - home of My Spider recently, so I've been looking at a lot of page source. The missing doctype at the top of your page makes me think you're not using any page-building software - and I guess you haven't been to The W3C Markup Validation Service? It wasn't until I took some of my source there just now that I realised the 'target' attribute is deprecated! I'm only learning about how the document parser works, but I get the impression that little 'wrinkles' in the page source can adversely affect the indexing of a page. |

who cares about W3C compliant..... as long as bot can index it, user can access it cross browser.. then its fine... the main thing is to get the content out to the visitor and not so much of impressing visitor with those compliance... anyhow.. everage visitor won't know what the heck is W3C anyway.... ![]() |

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound critical - and I use a text editor too. You're right, nobody but someone writing a website about standards would claim W3C compliance. The point is the indexer at the search engine has to be able to parse your page source. The only way of guaranteeing the search engine can correctly 'see' all your keys is to be compliant. If you're not, I imagine there's a chance some of your searchable data may not be indexed. I see it in spider.my's document parser - I can read (by eye) keywords in the page source of spidered webpages that are not picked up by the parser because of some dodgy HTML.
--snip-- Hey, I think you did a good job on your site. I've cut the rest of this message into a new topic. If you're tired, no need to read off-topic stuff! That's a lot of submitted blogs - did they all find you, or did you have 'some you prepared earlier'? (That's a Blue Peter reference - a British TV reference from a long time ago...) |

dude, i know u really care more about the functions and content, but still the layout is something that i think u need to put a bit of effort on
![]() i have to say the whole thing really like a google ads design page :P anyway, something that i notice is when i click on the title link eg "Art Blogs", "Computer Blogs" etc, there's this blue dot appear at the top left corner of that particular link.
