Simple site check!

I've got a markup for a pretty basic site for a client and was hoping I could get some feedback as far as any problems you may have. Please let me know what platform and browser you are using. I'm especially interested in the PC users as this site was developed and tested primarily on a Mac with IE5.0 and NE6.2.

Thanks as always!

It looks okay on my ME, IE5.5. However, just curious - why the popup?

Using Windows 95, with IE 5.0 as my browser.

The site is smooth and well-designed...congratulations

the pop-ups in the "Audio" sections are because I wanted a way of controlling a Flash Movie. I find that to stream audio, flash is a really good option but my client didn't want flash on the frontend of the site. So I only used it on the backend to compress / stream the audio. I figured having a pop-up for the Streaming Samples was an easy way to control / stop the audio by closing the window before the sample had finished playing.
Then, he felt that we needed the same pop-ups for the Download Audio Samples, which I think are useless but he insisted on having them. Those do not serve any purpose except that they made the client happy.
Would you have any other way of stopping / playing an Flash Audio only Movie without using any Flash on the frontend of the site ??? I'd be curious to know...

Thanks for the site check!

view in Opera 6.01 on Linux .. everything look ok. so clean. i didnt test on mozilla 1 RC3 because you did test on Netscape 6.2.

maybe you would consider put another option other than popup for user to view. incase if user had Javascript turn off ... well .. it's nightmare .. click enter but nothing happen but quite hard to found people that have browser with javascript turnoff.

like opera had an option to choose allow popup or not .. when choose yes ... it will not open any popup (i mean every popup including your site) ... this is just an example only for you to consider another method of viewing the site .. mean you got to convince the client that popup is not really good ... which i think it's hard to do :P

oh .. i've been talk to much ... about your question .. maybe somebody that know flash could answer that .. mysticmind ? .. anybody ?

Can I get you guys take on this variation instead of the pop-up design ?

http://raybrown.biz/redirect2.html

It should resize your window on the opening page and center it when you enter the site. The redirect selects your browser type to resize to the right size taking into account the NE4 bug with the resizeTo action.
The browser window is resized but you should be able to still resize it...

Better ? Worst ??? Thanks!
