ur flash Introduction Course is not very thorough as an introduction course.. becoz the Syllabus is too limited. Not much can be acquired. For those who really wanna learn, check out the tutorial in the Flash MX or any version of Flash. It is so interactive that you don't need this course. Sorry for a bad recommendation, I have viewed ur page. TQ

p/s: too expensive for a very limited 'introductory' course. Not much can be learn to be an introduction.

I agree that it is not a thorough course. It's ONE-DAY INTRODUCTORY course. And from the course and we hope that participants with no Flash background at all will be able to understand the interfaces that Flash has and know how to handle them. We hope to give a sound foudation so that after the course, participants will have enough knowledge and skill about Flash to explore further. With a one-day course, of course we cannot cover everything. Being so `intro` we even dare not cover actionscripts.

But we will do our best in giving the best teaching aided with the best facility the we could afford. We will have a projector so all the participants can see clearly of what is being taught. And also, due to that fact that Flash is very hands-on we limit our class to FIFTEEN participants only so that the instructor will be capable of giving personal attention to all participants.

A few weeks ago, I did PHP+MySQL Introductory course. I tried to cover the following, but even 9am to 5pm was not enough :

These don't seem a lot do they. Still we had problems covering them last time. But I always remind myself when teaching, everybody has their first time. Meaning one might not be as smart as the other. So this sometime takes time. However, we will always try to make sure that everybody is with pace with the class and we do not want to leave anybody behind.

And one more thing, please do not say that it is expensive. We pay rent for the computer lab. It's not our own. And also for the LCD projector. Yet still, we provide some snacks between the lessons. And we will also give attendence certificates. Other than that, how about the instructor. I am glad that there's somebody who is willing to teach for a very low fee. How about other expenses, petrol, notes, etc ... RM 60 x 15 ... Do you think we make profit out of that? You do the math.

We'd give out free courses if we could but we have to cover the costs, right? We're just glad to be able to teach if people are willing to learn. We like going out sharing our knowledge and making friends. At the same time, meet other people who share our same passion about sharing knowledge and learning. If there's anybodyelse who wishes to teach a course, we always welcome that.

ok.. u have a good sense of mind.. but it would be very beneficial if u make a one week course if u think that one day is not enough.. becoz it's kinda frustrating and feeling cheated when u go for a course that u think beneficial and yet after the course u end up nothing. I've been to a lot of courses especially the one day courses, they are of no quality at all and they try to cram everything on one day or on a very short time. It is beneficial to the person organizing it but not to the participant. If what u are trying to do is to educate, plan properly and allocate more time instead of getting quick cash on one day Me just giving u some nice tips to make a better money than just one quick 'collection' and after that people hate the experience. For me, if anybody wanna learn that, especially Flash, they can learn it through the tutorial in the Flash programs. I learn the basics through there becoz of the interactivity of Macromedia tutorial. So what u offer is considered as expensive. :P I hope u don't be offended by this, because unsatisfied participant = bad reputation. So good luck to anybody participating this. This will be my last comment about this. So to the organizer, good luck organizing. And to anybody wanna learn the basic the best way, play around the tutorials in Flash program, if u don't understand u can always ask me here
