Sebenarnye website ni baru aktif 3 bulan, dan web ni hasil daripada sebuah irc channel #perak di server webchat. So aku nak cuba buat website yang boleh bagi benefit pada user kalau boleh kasi komen sikit...url web aku di http://gempaq.com .Banyak lagi tools yang tak siap contohnye greeting card, horroscope harap koorang kasi support sama untuk webportal aku :-)

OK web tu warna orange...pasal aku suka warna tu, mula asalnye aku nak buat warna bendera PERAK tapi jadi macam hampeh so bila aku alter jadi lah macam tu...rasanye sesuai.

I have a major contention with the way the fonts were rendered in the sense that they are in way consistent. While I'm sure that they were not intended that way, it makes one wonder how much care was taken in their consideration.

For example,

The section heads with the orange background have varying font colours. This is very evident when you glance at the left column and notice that "Waktu Solat" is much brighter than "Free-email" and "E-card". And then there's the matter of the choice of font. While the section heads are for the most part a sans-serif font, suddenly for no apparent reason, "Join Us" and "More Friend" is in serif.

Within the far left and right columns, the text is also inconsistently rendered. Under the "Classified" section the list has blue dots whereas the "E-card" has red dots. The list in "Classfied" is far smaller with a closer line-height which is markedly different from "E-card" which is much bigger and has a further line-height.

The news columns are rendered in a strangely small serif font that make it very hard to read. I suspect they are Times, 7px which is tiny when rendered in Gecko browsers.

And let's get into the source code which is a complete mess!

The code attempts to make some use of cascading stylesheets but some of them are ignored, including class "fll". Class "Mdeck" and "Mdeck2" are completely over-ridden by the font tags.

And there are also duplicated font tags which clash with each other! Typical of this is in the news section where you find "font face="Arial" size="2"" followed by "font face="MS Sans Serif" size="1"".

I cannot stress this enough: greater care must be taken to maintain a professional level of standards among the web designer community. Especially when websites like Gempaq which enjoy high traffic levels and are seen by hundreds of people each day!

pendapat aku, web engkau mmg boleh dikategorikan intermediate dlm bidang web ni

dari segi color pula, orange boleh dijadikan sebagai trademark. Atau mungkin cantik jika ada warna-warna yang lebih ceria dan sesuai dgn konsep keseluruhannya.

Boleh jugak aku katakan yang banyak info yang boleh seharian kita pakai seperti Waktu Solat (mmg sepatutnya ada), Weather, E-Card, News dan ruangan iklan iaitu 'Classified'.

Pendapat aku, web ni boleh pergi lebih jauh disebabkan ramai juga yg memberi sokongan. Yang dimaksudkan di sini adalah ruangan 'GempaQ.com Friend's'. Ramai yg hantar gambar Happening! Jika ada idea yg dirasakan boleh menarik ramai pengunjung, jgn takut2 utk teruskan!

Nasihat aku, jika engkau buat website seperti www.gempaq.com, perlu ada sokongan kawan2 terdekat. Dari situ, bolehlah dibahagikan kerja2 utk membuat grafik/layout, data2 dan webmaster. Takde la pening2 kepala

terima kasih kat ko jugak...mengenai idea ko tu memang betul ada..tapi cuma mula mula jerk member aku ni nak tolong tapi lepas tu masing masing beeze dan semuanya senyap membisuu..bab grafik aku ni MEMANG LEMAH..lemah gile gile...


p/s aku plan nak cari salah sorang yang pandai grafik kat sini untuk cuba melabur masa dan skill koorang manalah tahu nanti KOT KOT ada hasil kite boleh kongsi..projek aku nie akan diteruskan jugak cuma aku akan tukar nama web tu ke CERIA.NET..
