Yeah I know, they've moved to TPM. I've been to TPM but I never went in to the APIIT building.
When I was in Diploma year they said the building would be done next year. After I graduated (3 years later) only they completed the damn building. Right now, I'm looking for a job... takkan everyday goyang kaki at home kan? In fact I just went for a COBOL programmer job interview today! Hahaha... can you imagine people still need COBOL programmers? BTW, when I said APIIT was bad I meant every word of it. Imagine some of their lecturers don't even have a degree.

![]() BTW, I have this COBOL book, I was thinking of just throwing it away in the dustbin, but if you get that job, would you like having that book instead? I'm giving it to you free of charge.... Quote:
But the only problem I find is that most of these lecturers come from INDIA, so I have problems understanding their accent.... - MENJ |

1. I might be going to APIIT on Friday... I've got friends there to take me around. I'll probably go around TPM to hand out my resume too.
2. Actually I live just down the road from TPM so it's an irony, not a blessing. 3. You live in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn and have no problems travelling to APIIT? You must drive a car! 4. Hahaha... I'm glad they taught COBOL while I was around. 5. Thanks, but no thanks... I don't think I'll need a COBOL book. I've got enough basic knowledge with me to make it through. 6. I once got a lecturer from India. She didn't look like much of a lecturer but surprisingly she knew her stuff well and she was one of the best lecturers I had in APIIT although it was hard to understand what she was saying (due to her accent). And this was for a DB subject! Amazing... don't judge a book by its cover.

Three words: I HATE COBOL!!! 5. I'm not saying the Indian lecturers are bad. I find that most of them are very good - even better than some of the local lecturers. Note that I said some of... ![]() - MENJ |

Isn't presenting a Blogger template (the Blogger engine refers to the database manipulation code necessary to publish the website) kind of like presenting an empty room and asking us how to improve it? (I would then of course reasonably suggest that SOME work/thought needs to be done first in order for an improvement can be made to it.) Tim |
