saya secara peribadinya merasakan web itu terlalu simple.
dan juga tidak dapat menyampaikan 'subject' kandungannya.

berdasarkan kepada pemahaman saya, web ini mungkin lebih kepada browser skin / plugin or related. tetapi designnya kurang mencerminkan, kurang memberi mood dan kesan 'at first impression'.


mungkin boleh dimuatkan sedikit screen shoot, atau lazimnya web yang sebegini lebih 'keras' dan 'bergrafik'.
dan juga mungkin boleh diperbanykkan sedikit isi dimuka hadapannya

My site is purposely made to look simple, though I admit you're right about the lack of content...
To be specific, this site is focused on themes/skins for some apps. About the site design, I assume you're using IE, right? If you use Gecko-based browsers, Opera, Konqueror or Safari, you'll get that 'first impression' a lot.

Very nice... Simple and clean. Do you do custom-made icons/graphics?

I revisited the site using Netscape 7.0 and had IE running in the other window. Aside from some minor differences they basically looked the same. What's this "first impression" you're referring to? Sounds like something amazing but I just don't get it.

Besides any sane webmaster will tell you not supporting the most widely used web browser on the planet (i.e. IE) is kinda like spitting upwards to the sky.

saya juga dah buka guna Netscape tapi tak ada sebarang perbezaan.
Through mozilla kat linux pc aku lagi satu pun tak nampak jugak bezanya.. erk..
Mungkin saya kene cuba Opera, neoplanet etc.. tapi satu soalan bonus :
mengapa saya perlu download lebih dari 4 Browser untuk satu pc? ( saya cuma ada pakai ie dan netscape 6 = itupun untuk pastikan tiada kerosakan teruk web saya dalam netscape )

jika anda maksudkan browser berubah apabila pakai selain iexplore.. saya syorkan anda masukkan printscreen / screenshot dia kat dalam nih.. and of course.! i think, i'm impresse about that

tapi jika apa yang dimaksudkan itu adalah skin browser.. as i said before.. Main subject must highlight at the front page.

seperti mana jika kita nak pergi makan disesebuah restoran, kita takkan masuk kedapur tengok apa benda yang sedap untuk dimakan.. sebaliknya kita tengok2 dulu lauk dan masakan apa yang ada dekat meja / almari lauk kat depan bukan?.

macam abang sejuk syorkan.. buat thumbnail / image preview etc kat depan2 tuh.. cantik jugak tuh.. ermmm

ini bukan untuk bid and bid more .. cuma melahirkan pendapat sahaja. no heart feeling ok.

saya tak paham juga lah mengapa banyak sangat ie lebih browser yang lain bahkan banyak yang tak didalam w3c standard. tapi kalau ikutkan w3c punya nampak lambat perkembangan dia.. adakah salah microsoft yang laju sangat atau suka sendiri2 / berbanding w3c yang Lembab sangat?

ape2 hal pun aku tetap merasakan ie paling baik, dari segala segi dan abaikan keegooan FreeSource yang seringkali menganggap mereka End User ( but they still nothing dont you? - apa kelebihan sangat yang diorang ada? )

As a web designer, I know one rule is never tell your visitors to upgrade/download/change their browsers even if they are using IE 1.0/NS 1.0 (if still exist)...

I know. I need to be very open-minded. ;-) Whenever I design a site, the only comments I expect are bad ones so that I can further improve my site(s).
There are quite a number of standards-compliant browsers. here's the list: Mozilla, Netscape 6+, Firebird/Phoenix, Camino, Safari, Konqueror, iCab, Ghostzilla, K-meleon, Galeon, Opera 4/5+ and maybe IE7?
W3C is not slow. Do you think their work is easy? You should try subscribing to their mailing lists and see what they are discussing. Microsoft just makes their work more difficult by introducing 'features' which feels more like bugs to most people.
Hmm, this is another topic...
Opensource community are better, in my opinion. I don't know if you've faced any problems with IE such as incomplete HTML 4.01 support, partial CSS 2 support, security bugs, lack of XHTML MIME type support, and more. i hope IE7 would be better though.. The Mozilla community is the best which its powerful Gecko rendering engine...

Ok... like u said... I scrolled down... and heck I even scrolled up again just to make sure! Nothing really great occured. What I did notice though was that in Netscape the circle fills turned white while going over the menu but if that's what you mean it's got more to do with IE's dismal PNG support rather than CSS in particular.
