The flash animation on the home page is distractive. When I went on the site, I was confused and didn't really know what to do or click.

Maybe some short intro and removal of the animation might help.

I didn't look any further, because I don't have an account and I don;t want to register an account.

Maybe if you posted credentials to a demo account here, I and other developers here can comment further.

BTW, I took a look at your code and it's very messy and has a lot of redundant coding. I know you use frontpage - I do too, it's a good program if you know how to use it well. However, if you don't you'll get a lot of rubbish in your code.

No, sufyan. He use Dreamweaver.

The con of using WYSWYG html editor is that you easily get many rubbish/redundant codes if you rely fully on the WYSWYG interface.

My way to do is make a draft at WYSWYG interface then finalize in code view.

Source of the Homepage contains:

<meta name="generator" content="Microsoft FrontPage 7.0">

I didn't look at any other pages, as I said... So I wouldn't know... What ever it is... it's still a WYSIWYG prog that outputs a lot of rubbish... =)

Thanks for your remarks.

Sure I know the design really sucks. That's because I'm not a design person and all my time and effort was in the php code.

It's a big mistake forgetting about user interface. So I'm going back to the drawing board and redesigning again.

Using Smarty as the templating engine so no problem changing the look and feel. Thrown away stupid frontpage and only using dreamweaver.

if ur using dreamweaver there's a tool to cleanup redundant/empty html tags. i think it's the frontpage that messed the code around (btw, i was not looking at his code, but there's some familiar elements ini his page )

Yes I've also been asked to do that.

I don't know why I didn't think of it. Will post some samplers so that you guys can see what the courses are all about.

Ok! I've managed to make one topic a sample.

It's only one topic. One course typically consists of 50-100 topic. The quiz feature is also enabled for the demo.

Try it out. It's at the first page
