I did try to use e107 before, but didn't like it because its too static. I mean you can't customise the layout. You just can customise the design.

e107 has improved and is improving daily..
now e107 v616 is out..and its the best...
soon 617 will be out..u should try..and the themes which r coming r all fantastic and easy to twek..
e107 updates very fast and comes out with a new version which i stable very fast...u should try it now..
