I would like to check for some advise... Is it okay for a website if I only use html to do it ?... (he..he.. I don't know any other program...asp, etc, etc...)

and what is the pro and con of each program. Do they make our site get higher ranking in search engine ?

If your site does not required dynamic contents or special programming functions, use HTML.

I am not sure what 'program' you were refering to. Site ranking does not depends on what program/languege you use. If your site is good then your site will get high ranking someday.

AFAIK, there is no search engine optimize tricks that does not work on HTML site.

As lcf said, there are no problems using HTML as it is pretty much the standard for browsers. However relying on HTML could pose a problem in the future if your site is going to be updated very often. What I would advise you to do is that if you are only going to update your sites once in a while (forthnightly or monthly), then you should just stick to HTML. Otherwise you might want to consider learning ASP, PHP, etc...or better still, go for a CMS (Content Management System).

I think PHP is easy enough that a non computer graduate can easily learn to program with it. My brother learn to use PHP with no problem and he is not literate in programming at all.
