hello.

i have two sites running at the moment.

one is a karting community website (http://www.my-kart.org/).

the other one is my own personal blog site (http://www.thefazz.com/).

both use drupal code. the my-kart site uses a drupal distro called civicspace. it is a little behind in terms of the latest drupal code release. my personal blogsite is running on the latest drupal release.

i mainly play with the css and some of the drupal modules.

Nice sites you got there.

It is amazing how two site can look so differently despite using Drupal. I like drupal very much (comparing with joomla) in terms of usability and functionality (especially the SEF URL).

Anyway, your sites look great and I can't really pick a bone there.

yeah, I've tried various cms starting from the phpnuke and postnukes. i found the nukes too rigid... and far too (umm) geeky. then i tried mambo (or joomla). mambo is much nicer, but still rigid. i wanted a flexible cms which utilises css widely. i then went to opensourcecms.com, and took a chance with drupal. it was the pitched as very themeable using css.

i have been with drupal since then. i still need to learn much more css, as well as good design principles. hope to learn from members here.

I guess the best thing I like about your sites is they are free of ads Which makes you a 'special' one in Malaysia. Good to see that you creating those site purely for your own fun/hobby/learning purpose/whatever other than profit.

still hoping to learn more on design (css & photoshop) and cms (drupal etc). but all this without relegating content to a secondary priority.

actually, more particularly - i was kind of hoping to work with a some experts on css, photoshop and drupal (mysql and php). i have a few ideas of enhancing the my-kart site, but need some help.
