Now I am on to another challenge. What methods of advertising do you suggest?

So far I have got a few hundred uniques but the site definately needs a lot more to get kicked off.

Do you have any suggestions? I am also ready to spend some money (not much) on advertising, just need to know a good source of traffic that will stick around on the site.

buy a banner in other high traffic such as cari.com.my , lelong.com.my , lowyat.net.. that's simple step first.

I have already purchased a small banner at cari, but I dont see much difference yet. The site needs a few bloggers or active users to come and fill it up for a week or so, then when the traffic comes, they wont find it empty like now.

I am willing to exchange efforts with anyone who is interested. Come and create a profile, a few blogs, clubs, etc... and I will do the same or anything similar on your site.

One last question, do you know any malaysian bloggers who can feature the website on their popular blogs? I would also appreciate that. Anyone who features the site will get a free Gold account.

I really would like to see a great (well, "great" is debatable", but anyhow) website created by Malaysia the like of myspace, youtube, or something extraordinary which changes the technology landscape like the aforementioned suspects did.

Why not, and why can't us?? Don't we have the creativity and entrepreneurship to make things happen? Food for thoughts. Let's support each other.

If that isn't working, i think it's best to register yourself at cari, make a few posts there, and then ask other users to comment about your site, or ask them to "test drive" the site (lol). It's much more worth it that way, than letting your small banner sits at the corner end of that big forum. Good luck!

I'm currently working on MalaysianNetwork at Members | malaysian.net.my. It still got a long way to go before becoming a full social networking site. But it's a start.
