Too many categories.

Start with less categories and you can expand from there slowly as your forum grows.

A great blog talking about how to improve your forum/community is Forumtrends

It is especially hard to kick start a forum that has nothing. The best way I'd suggest is to start with your friends, make them join and talk there. Or, a more expensive way would be hire people to post at your forum.

Ya, i do invite 2 persons who are kind of expert in football & feature them at a column, hope this will help the forum to expand.

And interesting is, one of them predicted correctly for the match of Birmingham VS Liverpool, it doesnt means anything big but it is a good start.

the template is nice. and its great to see your long memberlist but I think it wl be much better if you can have the [justfooty - a theme for phpbb] logo replaced with your very own so that it'll look more professional. anyway, nice job there. welldone.
