Thread: How To Submit For Webmaster Malaysia Website Award?

i hope they are good though.. hope they are not just randomly picked..
judging is not what malaysian do best escpecially in ict i think..
may i know who are the judges ?

We (the panel judges) will come out with the result within this 2 weeks. Thanks again for the participation.

Don't confuse web mastering with web design buddy. All of the names you mentioned up there are design-specific professionals, CSS master or Photoshop gurus... this award is not just about the design of a website.. it's also about content, functions, purpose, usability, etc etc. A website with creatively stunning look & feel doesn't mean it is anymore better than other websites which may look a little less but have better content, functions, user-friendliness, etc.

The judges don't have to be as equally brilliant as Jeffrey Zeldman or whoever designers to fairly and decently choose winners for this award.

so like when will the results be out? can't wait to see the winners website, should be a great inspiration to all of us to improve our websites.

We are still in process of "judging" the websites

oh I was wondering whether there will be any other similar competitions in the future? or will this be a monthly event?

u will get a badge that u can show on ur site, check out limcs 2nd post on the first page of this thread

so when will the result be shown ? and also does all entries get to be in the final round ? there are only 1 round.. ?

hmm...this answer will have to ask for those judges panel
but shouldn't be long until the results are shown, really takes time..52 entries, not a small amount and a lot of it has good design and content!

If we can't get certificate.. how about winners have to pay for the certificate printing and posting... this can become one of WebmasterMalaysia's side revenue... that is only if the winners 'mau itu sijil la' kalau tak mau takpa... dapat badge saja la...

At least sijil is something we can put on resume or gantung on the wall for 'riak', boasting and kasi orang jealous...

actually sijil might come in handy for applying a job..maybe its important to designer.. but i dun think its relevant nowadays rite?

i mean, if u want sumtin to show like ur artworks or work ethic people usually show portfolio or our own website..
