the cert nowadays is actually just an opening and merely a reference for this field, mostly will refer to your experience and of course the portfolio of yours.

as for the cert jururawat maybe someone could just make a design of a cert (by right should have) and then with the signature or chop by wmm or whoever whom are reputations are recognized here (in softcopy) then whoever which wan it can print out themselves and hang on the wall or display it somewhere for syok sendiri:P is ur choice anyway

Submission closed at Feb 15, now Mar 15. Any "release" date?

I think all of this should will be annually event so submission should be closed end of the year so webmastermalaysia.com can give it award such as "web of the year" or else. Coz from my opinion i think sometime to develop a website maybe take a long period to finish it. But who has been finish early is better right?

Interesting idea to have a cert, maybe webmastersmalaysia can issue a digital cert with some form of digital signature so only the winner can open and print it out, then the winner can choose to print it out o not and not fearing that any tom dick or harry can just grab his file and print it out without actually earning it.

can't wait to see the winner's website, and hopefully there will be other similar competitions in the future so I can submit my website as well, maybe the judges can give constructive comments on the participants websites as well so they can further improve their sites and the quality of webmasters in Malaysia? But of course that will take up even more time and effort for our fellow judges.

if do it next month then it would be once in half year, this time i would suggest to do a static promotion page for this competition so that we could help promote the competition and also this forum's existence. Coz i realize actually the amount of ppl who know about this forum is quite little. So with this competition page, it would be a very big help. Also is easier for fellow forumers here to spread the news

as for the idea, if is like this mayb the next months we do it roughly the same(maybe some other ideas if u all have), while the january's competition we do it a little bit different.

since is a beginning of the year, we could make a competition which is sort of like designing some special occasion theme or decoration on the website/blog in conjuntion of New Year 2008? i know it mayb a big hassle to do it especially for some certain website/blog. But i think this would encourage more on the css/html.
