Will there be any prizes for winners instead of the digital award banners?

it's not a good idea to have specific themes for the competition unless you have prizes besides just the badges, as I doubt people are going to design such a webpage and even less a website just for one competition and in the end the badge is useless since the website is not actually going to be used but just meant for the competition.

If we're lacking sponsors for prizes then it would be better to do it like the previous one where anyone with a website can just submit it and see what they get, and they can show off the badge on their website.

If we have sponsors for prizes then we can go ahead with something more thematic, Visit Malaysia Year 2007 maybe? but then it would probably be Web Page Designing Competition instead of Website, and the criteria for judging will be solely on the design.

Just my 2 cents.

But the previous award entries have gained traffic as well as some link backs (from this forum, and few other blogs including gohbala krishnan's blog). Worth it, isn't it?

Yeah... Yeah... can know about these famous ppl blog links...and good examples.

Its not easy to find a forum sponsor.. Its even harder to find sponsor for some kind of competition.. unless u have some good buddy2 in marketing dept, then thats a different story..

Anyway, when will the next award session take place? Cant wait to submit mine.. Hehehe..
